Highlighted words within post linked to advertisements
-
I have not been on WordPress long enough to build up to “premium”, but have up to this point been impressed with your system. Now, all of a sudden, everyone is experiencing pop-up advertisements WITHIN the post in random words which show up double-lined and highlighted in orange. I know I cannot be the only blogger who is very displeased with this unacceptable feature. I realize advertisements pay your bills and accept the ads on the side, above, and below our posts. However, if the blog is cumbersome to read with constant distractions, readers will find other, more reader-friendly blogs to follow.
I do not know who invented this horrendous feature, but if it is not removed, I will grow my blog elsewhere. Thank you.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

To off-set the costs of providing free hosting to millions of bloggers, WordPress.com has been running advertising on our free hosted blogs since 2006. If the ads you see are found at the end of blog posts then provided you see this small About These Ads link what you are seeing is WordPress.com generated advertising. http://en.wordpress.com/about-these-ads/
Any other ads appearing to you are not placed by WordPress.com. You have an issue on your browser or computer. They are being placed there by software on your own computer, unfortunately. These ads are sometimes caused by malware or a virus, but more often it is due to a browser extension or toolbar that you may have installed in your browser.
These sites have further explanation and suggestions for eliminating the ads:
