Highlighting Text and Copying locks up Block Editor

Hey, I’m creating a Word document as I make changes to my WordPress site. So, while in the Block Editor, I will highlight some text and click Ctrl-C and that locks-up the page and eventually displays an Alert as follows:
This occurs with both Edge and Chrome browsers.

Just to check, does this happen when highlighting any Paragraph block and copying it, or even just a section of text?
Since Microsoft Edge is Chromium under the hood (as is Chrome), would you know if this happens with a non-Chromium browser such as Firefox?
I wasn’t able to directly replicate what your screenshot shows at the moment; but if you have the chance to share any JavaScript errors which come up in your browser console that would help us investigate too. In case of need we do have a guide for locating the browser JavaScript console.

Hey thanks for the reply.
I’m suspecting that the cause is Malwarebytes browser extension. On a recent copy and paste on anther website, I got a popup (JavaScript alert) message saying somebody is copying clipboard data. Therefore; I believe Malwarebytes is trying to do its warning message and that is what is causing the lockup. Apparently, one can get a Clipboard Virus.

You may want to check that extension’s settings to see if you can whitelist your site so it doesn’t try to block what you’re trying to do on your website.
