Hi,
I’ve created a wordpress.com blog. Is there a shortcode allowing to get an ‘accordion’ effect on an article’s specific part (for instance, in order to not show by default a long developpement that may not interest the largest public) ?
Thanks for your help,
Best regards. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t get an “accordion effect” on WordPress.com but you can split your blog post by using one or combining of these methods:
1. More Tag. It Shows the beginning excerpts of your posts so a reader can click the “Read More” tag to be directed to your full post.
2. NextPage. It splits a post or page up into different pages.
3. Page Jumps. Page jumping is where you click a link and instantly get moved somewhere further up or down a long post.
4. Excerpts. They are optional hand-crafted summaries of your content. They can be used to shorten your blog posts so that only part of the entry — usually the introduction or a summary of the post — is displayed, instead of the entire entry.

Thanks very much for this very precise and complete answer, I’ll get the most out of WordPress thanks to that. Best regards.
