Highwind Visual Editor Font Is Incorrect And Too Small

    Hello,

    I just started using the Highwind theme last night for the first time and I noticed this afternoon that it has the same Visual Editor Font And Font Size Bug that I reported for the Hemingway Rewritten theme where the Font in the Visual Editor does not match the theme’s font and the Font Size is very small and not very readable:

    Last night I was trying to test out new themes to find some new backup themes for my blog without this problem and a few other problems and Highwind was one of the few themes that I narrowed it down to last night out of the newer themes, and so this caught me by surprise this afternoon when I went to type my first post since switching to this theme to test it. (Is this real or am I imagining things because of my bad eyes? :D )

    Anyway, I just wanted to report this, it is the exact same incorrect Font and Font Size bug that is in the Visual Editor for the Hemingway Rewritten theme which I think is interesting and so a new screenshot is not really necessary because they are the exact same.

    I just tried the Suits theme, and I think that it also has this problem in the Visual Editor.

    This seems to be a growing trend with the newer themes maybe, who knows, but I hope this gets fixed for all the themes with this problem.

    Hi there!

    I looked into it and the way it works, the size of fonts inside the post editor doesn’t actually match that of the theme itself, especially in cases where the theme uses big fonts. I agree that this is common in newer themes. You may opt to change your browser setting to zoom in on the post editor to enlarge the view if you’re having trouble viewing it.     Hello Druesome,

    Are there any plans to improve the font and font size used for situations like this, because the current font in these situations is very unreadable and it is too small, why not use the default font (Open Sans?) and font size for WordPress in those situations or another more readable font in a larger font size instead?

    I just think that would be a much better and more logical way to handle this instead.

    Hi John,

    Unfortunately, I’m not aware of plans of changing the fonts in the post editor any time soon. It’s a good idea and something we might consider in the future. Other than zooming in, you may want to try using a third-party application called Windows Live Writer that lets you choose fonts and sizes as you write on your blog:
