  Hi there, the currently available payment methods for WordPressdotcom upgrades are mentioned in our support guide at https://en.support.wordpress.com/payment/ where it says:

  … we accept all major credit and debit cards, and you can also pay directly through your PayPal account. In some countries, we support additional local payment methods, as listed below.

  Belgium: Bancontact
  Brazil: Bank transfers with selected banks
  China: Alipay
  Germany: Giropay
  The Netherlands: iDEAL
  Poland: Przelewy24 (P24)

  We cannot accept checks, cash, purchase or money orders, or any payment that must be mailed, and we cannot accept payment over the phone.

  So it appears that payment by Google Play is not yet an option.
