  Hello I am new year and I heard you can use wordpress to make a simple website. Is it possible to use wordpress to make a website and hire the webspace somewhere else..

  Yes, but for that you need to be at WordPress.ORG, not WordPress.COM. WP.COM is a hosting site. WordPress.ORG supplies the software you put in your webspace elsewhere.
