Hit counter, no widget

  Returning to this great forum I have a question regarding hit counter. The theme Collections doesn’t have a widget option / sidebar, which suits me fine. But of course now I can’t figure out how – if possible – I can put a subtle hit counter on the homepage without giving an order to the css template. The homepage is static.
  Any solution ?

  Hi, Collections does not have widget areas and that is not something that can be done with CSS.

  Thanks for getting back to me on the matter.
  I sort of knew this would be the case.
  Not a crucial matter, just a way to quickly see if the site is visited.
