Hitch hiking/Photography / Writing – Which theme best suits ?

  I am a photography student in my first year of college and accepted into HNC next year, I am interested in Hitch hiking and taking photos of my journeys and the people I meet along the way, and then writing about my experiences good, bad.. and ugly..
  I am looking for a theme that will suit a large amount of written text, and photos, I will also be using this toward my portfolio for end of year.
  there are so many themes to choose from it all seems a bit overwhelming if anyone can point me in the right direction would be massively appreciated.
