Hitting “Publish” deletes all but one word

This is the third time it has happened. I finish the blog. I’ve been paranoid and hitting save as I go — and then I hit publish and it all disappears except for one random word somewhere in the middle.
Is there away to get it back???? And how do I stop this from happening?

Go to the bottom of the post write page, and you will see a section called “post revisions.” It keeps your last five revisions (saves).
