Hi…we tried to change the name of our blog…without result….what happens next??

  We followed the export/import advice to change the name of our blog from nuggetsandnutshells to curiousboxes….there is an export file on the desktop but 24 hours later there is no sign that we can proceed with importing it into the new name. Obviously we’ve done something wrong…..help!

  Sometimes the importer gets stuck and I tagged this thread for Staff to reset it for you.

  You only have to wait for 24 hours before posting here for an importer reset by Staff. You simply type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help.   It looks like the import completed successfully, or at the very least it’s no longer stuck.

  Are you still having trouble with this?

  Thanks very much for your reply. I seem to have made two versions of the curiousboxes blog! Is it ok to delete the one which has nothing in it? (and how do I do that?) Those 2 new blogs are in twentytwelve theme – it’s great but presumably I’ll need to adjust various formats from it being previously in penscratch. When I googled the new name I also found a blank site in that name with the twentythirteen theme….did I do that??

  I’m happy to rework the twentytwelve version if that’s live. Can I just delete the others? (including the old nuggetsandnutshells version?)

  Thank you so much for your help – I’m new to blogging but love WordPress so much that I’m going to transfer my website to it once this blog is sorted!
