Ho can I add top bar in my wordpress website

  I need to add the top bar in my WordPress website where I can display current Date & time along with the highlights of the latest published posts. I am totally new to coding and somewhere I have added the date functionality in the top left bar, but it is showing outside the div class. Please help me out to solve the same or confirm if it is the feature of some themes only.

  Hi there,

  I’m not sure I understand what you’re referring to. I don’t see any date top-left on your site, and it’s not possible to directly edit a theme on a WordPress.com site in the way you’re describing.

  Can you please confirm the site you need help with and exactly what you’re trying to do?

  That site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.
