"Holding page" after mapping domain

  Hi,

  I am new to blogging and I have just set up a blog for my business. I have mapped the domain name from fasthosts and followed the process (i.e. putting the wordpress server names on fashost and carrying across the MX reference to wordpress).

  It worked for around half an hour but then I went back into edit one of the pages and no I can’t seem to get it working. It is showing a “holding page” and saying that I have not created a website yet.

  Am I being impatient and it will sort itself out? My concern is that it worked for half and hour (i.e. I could enter http://www.sweet-nostalgia.net and the blog would come up) so all of the settings must be completed by both Fasthosts and WordPress, but for some reason it is not working.

  Any help would be appreciated!

  http://sweet-nostalgia.net/ – loads fine for me to a WordPress.COM blog – Domain Helper shows you have things set correctly

  It can take 24 to 72 hours for changes to reach the far corners of the internet – during that time access will be erratic – changes usually start after a few hours (as you saw) – try clearing your browser cache & forcing a page reload & be patient
