'Home' appears but cannot delete or edit

This is really annoying me – if you head over to the blog http://towardsabetterfuture.wordpress.com you’ll arrive on a blank “Home” page. This page doesn’t appear in my posts or pages lists. There isn’t the “Edit” button at the bottom when I’ve signed in.
I’ve read other suggestions about creating a new page that’s the same name and then deleting that to get rid of the ghost page but it doesn’t work.
Any ideas? Thanks

Err.. I am assuming you mean the blog connected to you profile,
your using the Static homepage and this happens in a lot of themes,
one simple way to get rid of that tab is to make a”custom menu”
and remove the “Home” page from it,simply remove the Home from the list of tabs and save your new menu.

Having done that, visiting the URL takes visitors the blank page – just gotta find out divert the URL to pick up the homepage I’ve edited, and not the non-existant one
