Home being home

Hello,
I created a free blog in French hosted directly by the WordPress site: https://lecturelouan.wordpress.com/
With the theme “Independant Publisher 2”. (I may change the theme and I have the same problems with all others themes)The “home” link in the menu (“Accueil” in French) does not correspond to the page that appears when you actually arrive on the blog. If we click on the title of the blog, we always return to the “normal” homepage if I may say so, but if we click on “Accueil (“Home”), we arrive at a separate page with a list of articles in the form of extracts …
How can we simply make the “Home” page of the menu refer to … the actual homepage of the site, i.e. the direct display of articles?

In your menu, the “Accueil” item is set to the blog page.
I recommend removing that item and instead creating a Custom Link item titled “Accueil” which links to

Thank you for your answer. But I already tried what you recommend, and the problem I have if I do this is that ““Accueil” does not appear the same color as the others item of the menu.
Because, since it is identified as a link, when you arrive on the blog, it is identified as a link on which you have not clicked yet.

That’s because the theme will automatically change the color of the menu item that matches the page you’re on. :)
If you go to any other page besides the home, you’ll see it matches the other links.

Notice that I don’t have the problem with my other blog, created a long time ago. And even if I tried to switch on the same theme with my recent blog, the problem remains. -
