Home button isn’t linked to front page template
-
How do I get the home button in the header to link to the front page template? In view site the front page template is there and all other buttons work so I can navigate to other pages. But not the home button. At first it was just linked to nothing, nothing happened. Now it takes me to a random blue screen in error.

1. Check Your Menu Settings
- Go to WordPress.com Dashboard → Appearance → Menus (or Customize → Menus).
- Find the menu used in your header.
- Locate the Home button.
- Ensure it links to your Front Page:
- If the Front Page is a page, select it from the list of available pages.
- If you are using a custom template, make sure the URL points to
/(your site’s root).
2. Remove Broken or Random Links
- If the Home button has a custom URL pointing to a broken page or template, remove it and add it again.
- Sometimes, leftover template links can cause a blue error screen.
