Home icon not showing up on website but the page and content is there

Hello, I wondered if you could be of assistance please. Have scoured the net for a solution but no success.

I am in the process of setting up the structure of my wordpress site (am following a tutorial, Variations theme ) and got to the bit where I created a new larger CONTACT button and was adding the link to all the pages and then removed the exisiting Contact icon….

Must have done something incorrectly as now the menu bar on the site is missing the HOME icon. I can it in PAGES and in the Editor along with the content….

However when I go into APPEARANCE/EDITOR/ …the url link does not have /home at the end and the bar at the top says HOME (INVALID)

When I go into TEMPLATES…HEADER…all the possible replacement options that are coming up as HOME INVALID ABOUT SERVICES CONTACT

Many thanks in advance for your help

  • Hi,

I’ve checked it, and the site verawoodhead.co.uk is not hosted on the WordPress.com servers. We can not help here with sites that are not hosted with us, as we have no access to your site, and our support tools will not work.

You can learn more about the difference between WordPress.com and self-hosted or WordPress.org sites here: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

Your site is hosted with Cloudflare. You need to contact them to get assistance with this site. You can also reach out to the WordPress.org community

If you are interested in moving your site to WordPress.com, we would be better able to assist you with issues such as this one in the future. You can learn more about moving to WordPress.com here

    Hope this helps!
