How do I change the "Home" tab in my custom menu?

  in the menu at the top of my site the 1st item says “home” regardless of what page is attached to it!

  I would like it to read “about” or whatever page ends up being my home page

  can you help?

  You can add a custom menu to your blog at in in your custom menus page (Appearance > Menus).
