  leatriceasher.wordpress.com Very frustrating! Need help with the Home Page. When I hit publish it ended up on that page and I cannot now get it off so my home page now starts with “articles” instead of “welcome”. Is there any way to delete all that appears above Welcome?

  If you go to Dashboard > Manage > Posts, you’ll be able to delete the September 15th post and have Welcome appear as the first post again. Each time you publish a new post, though, it’ll force that post down again. What you probably want to do is to set a static page called Welcome as the front page, so people will see that first when they come to your blog. It can hurt your ranking with Google but if you don’t mind that, here’s how you can do it:
