  I think I ruined my home page. I can get to the page but get a message that says “Not Found
  Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here” . Please help….I love my url and don’t want to lose it because of ignorance.

  Not to worry. As soon as you publish a post that 404 page not found error /a>message will be gone. What created it was you deleting the placeholder Hello World post.

  I am actually brand new to wordpress and connot for th life of me figure out how to direct people to my blog. My address is supposed to be treescantrun.wordpress.com I enter this in the search engine and it is not found. Can you help at all?

  you should delete the hello world post

  The cause of the 404 page not found was the deletion of the Hello World post and I have already provided the answer to the question posed.

  Below is the URL for your blog. Take note that it does not contain “www” as no WordPress.com blog URLs contain ‘www”
