  Is there a way to remove the listing of Posts on the home page and STILL have the header show different pictures? I’ve tried several things and could not do it.

  Yes, I tried that but in this design in order to get more than one photo to show in the Header it has to be a Post.

  Unfortunately, that’s a requirement of the theme’s slideshow feature. There’s no way around it.
