    Hello, I write long posts, I would like to make my homepage to have only previews and not full articles to make it less crowded. How do I do that?

    Hi Dennis,

    Using the more tag might help you out here.

    You can truncate your blog entries so that only the first part of a posts is displayed on the home and archive pages. When you do this, a link will be placed directly after your excerpt, pointing the reader to the full post. You can put this link anywhere in a post, and customize it to say whatever you want.

    Find and use the more tag button from your visual editor or you can add it manually from the HTML editor by inserting <!–more–>

    By doing this in each of your blog posts, you can essentially shorten what will be displayed as previews however much you like.
