  I tried to change my home page and just ended up having two home pages- any advice?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Do you mean the Home menu item at the menu bar below your header image?

  You can remove the duplicate menu item by following the steps here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#4-delete-menu-items

  Thanks for the response but i don’t see where that menu can be found on my dashboard so I don’t know how to remove the second home tab that appears on the tool bar

  I don’t see the second Home menu item at the menu bar on your site anymore. If that’s not what you’re trying to solve, please share us the screenshot of the area you need help with.
