  How do i delete that block on home page where it says welcome to your new site etc? No matter how many times I try, it doesn’t go.

  I do not see that block on your homepage, where you able to remove that? If not, could you please send us a screenshot of what exactly do you see on your end? You can use an online tool for that (such as https://snipboard.io/), or follow the instructions described here:
