  Hi, I’m new at this and having trouble building my site. I accidentally deleted the block of text with a colored background that was on top of my image on my homepage. I don’t know how to put it back. I tried using another theme but then it messes my whole homepage up. I want to use the go theme, but i need the block of intro text that was there before. Can you help me?

  You can find all your saved history of the page from the Revision section. Go back to the theme you had before. Open the page with the Block Editor, just click on the Revision, and load the version of the page before deleting your desired content.
