  Our website, westcon.org, has a static home page.
  We also have a blog page which is called News.
  I am still completely confused about why I have traffic to “Home.” and “Home/Archives.”
  I read and re-read these posts but this makes no sense — our blog page is “News”.
  When I click on “Home/Archives” I get to the normal home page.
  Why are there 2 distinct traffic numbers? If it is one page, then I is the traffic coming from a specific place?
  The Home. traffic is 368
  Home/Archives traffic is 361

  Hi. My guess would be that Home/Archives is the home page and post archives but I’m not really sure. What I can’t understand is why Home/Archives together have less than just the home page.

  I’ve tagged this for staff attention so that they can answer your question. If another volunteer can answer your question, I’ll remove the staff tag.

  I don’t know what the “Post archives” page is, presumably that is just the “news (blog)” page?

  We’re trying to get together our mid-month reporting and obv. it’s a question.

  Hi. The post archives page is what readers go to if they, for example, press on a category link or a tag link.

  I hope that the staff or another volunteer can answer your question.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.
