Home Page button doesn't change color on navigation bar

  I have the blix theme and it comes with a navigation bar, I created a static homepage & to get rid of my 2 home buttons on my navigation bar, I have my Home page a “child” to my static page “Contact”. My problem is when I go to my website the Home page button on the navigation bar doesn’t change color when i’m on the home page – the Contact button changes color instead – the color change works on all other pages but not the home page. Can I fix it?

  Instead of doing it the way you have, I suggest creating a custom menu which gives you far greater flexibility and you don’t have to use any “tricks”. You can even put categories, tags or some posts up there if you wished, and even external links.
