home page confusion

  My home page displays my blog post, and a link to my blog post – which also displays my blog post. I don’t get it, and I think that when I started this 2 years ago I might have done something silly, and I don’t know what it could be because I haven’t used this site since then…. The home marker (grey home icon) is on my blog post, and so I cannot edit my home page. Please help.
