Home Page confusion

    I downloaded the template called ‘Arbutus’ and I thought I was recreating my own home page using what seemed to be the template’s home page. It is not listed in ‘Pages’. When I tried to change themes / templates to ‘Blank’ nothing from my original page transferred to the home page of ‘blank’. In fact, the original home page from Arbutus seemed to disappear. It did not go to ‘pages’ as a draft. I only got it back on screen after I changed back to Arbutus. I even named it Home Page, but that didn’t work. I am having a great deal of difficulty with the Arbutus layout trying to adapt it to my design. I can’t get rid of extra space in the header and under pictures in the grid layout. Sometimes a banner shrinks to fit its width in mobile mode and then at other times it remains the original size and spreads beyond the mobile edge. Something is very wrong. Thank you.

    Hi there,

    I have visited your site and can confirm that it is using the Blank Canvas theme. I seem to be able to see your homepage as well, you were able to sort this out?

    The issues you mentioned seem to relate to the previous theme you were using but if you are continuing to have those issues please let us know which ones and we’re happy to take a closer look.
