    I am making a “Links in Bio” home page that will link to wordpress blog posts with text based information

    I am editing the appearance and added a “links in bio” template and customized it and saved, but when I go to my “pages” menu and click on the home page it is blank

    When I click on the link however, the homepage I customized is correct and there.

    Like two versions of the homepage? One I can edit when in customization mode, and one I can edit when in Pages.

    On a separate note, the image is in black and white, and I never set it to have the duotone filter and I tried to remove the black and white filter, but it is still black and white on both customization and the pages version.

    Hi there!

    In the site editor, it looks like you modified the page template which will be used for all pages, not just the one page you set as your homepage. The page you have set as your homepage is indeed blank – it’s just picking up the template content from your page template. If you created any other page on your site, it would behave the same way.

    What I would recommend is:

    1. Open the page template in the site editor and remove the content.
    2. Set up your content in the page under Pages > All Pages

    On a separate note, the image is in black and white, and I never set it to have the duotone filter and I tried to remove the black and white filter, but it is still black and white on both customization and the pages version.

    That is a known issue in the Block editor that the team that builds the WordPress software (which is not us) needs to fix. Here’s a link to that GitHub issue for reference:

    To get around it, you can switch to the regular Twenty Twenty Two theme, which is not impacted by that bug:

    Since you will need to recreate some things for your site, it might be good to switch to the new theme before setting up the page as your homepage.
