  just wondering now how i can add a tagline on home page? I have entered the text but not visible on homepage, is there a way to do this?

  The Canard theme does not display the site tagline, which is why it’s not appearing on your site.

  You can see an example of that in the theme demo.

  As @elleybiddle indicated above, the Canard theme is designed to hide the tagline. It can probably be unhidden with Custom CSS. You could submit a request at the CSS Customization forum, or add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar at right here to call for staff attention. If you do the latter, then when a staff member responds you may ask if they can provide CSS that will unhide the the tagline.

  Hi @livelovedorset, on Canard, we can use the following custom CSS to make the tagline visible.

  .site-description {
    display: block !important;
  }

  Go to Customize > CSS, delete all the informational text in that window, and paste in the above custom CSS.

  ‘days out dorset’
  restaurants dorset’
  family days out bournemouth etc
