Home Page difficulty with pictorico theme

    I am unable to set up icons on the home page. Does this theme allow for that? Plus I’d like the icons to be a permanent feature on the home page, such that new post do not interfere with the look of the home page.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there @slikkingztourstravel,

    Pictorico theme lets you set an icon to your home page. You can set a logo by clicking on customize button under Themes menu option on your administration panel. A new window will be opened, under Site Identity, you will find Site Icon section. There, you will need to upload your icon image. clicking on Save & Publish button on the top of the panel will save your changes and add an icon to your blog.

    Hope this helps you to set an icon to your website.

    Best,
    Khyati

    @thesacredpath,

    Hi. @slikkingztourstravel is not referring to the Site Logo. See my exchange with the member in the topic “Home Page difficulties Canard.” The member, who failed to provide the address of the site referred to despite my multiple prompts to do so, is referring to the grid of featured image links on the posts page of a site with the Pictorico theme applied. He or she wants to make them “a permanent feature on a the home page,” and asks the following:

    How can i pin them to the home page? such that latest post don’t push them away

    After suggesting that the member start a new topic, I found this topic — which was actually started before I made the suggestion, and again failed to clearly describe/identify what the member was referring to — but I eventually decided that it might be easier to just provide the link to the “Sticky Posts” section of the Post Visibility support page in the other topic.
