  I am using the Twenty Twelve Theme for one of my blogs. Can I set the home page to display only the summary or excerpts of posts instead of the whole post text?? Or do I need to switch to another theme?

  Hi there!

  TwentyTwelve does not support Excerpts. You can see a listing of all the WordPress.com themes that support Excerpts at this link:

  Thanks! I suspected as much! Switched to Twenty Sixteen, which claims to support Excerpts, but can’t seem to find where to set that up in that theme? Some clues would be appreciated… :)

  Hello again!

  I am not seeing that in the search results of themes that support Excerpts, or in the TwentySixteen online documentation. The demo site has one post that uses a More tag, so I wonder if that is what you are seeing.

  Using a More block or More tag is another way to truncate the display length of a post on a front page. It cuts off the post where you place the tag or block, rather than using your post excerpt content.
