You deleted the placeholder Hello World post which cerated that 404 Page not found) error message. As soon as you publish a post, not a page it will disappear.

That blog is private so this is what I see:

http://florencekrallshepard.wordpress.com/ is marked private by its owner. You can:
Request access to view the site. We’ll send your username to the site owner for their approval.
Log out and sign in as different user. You’re logged in as ‘timethief’.
Learn about privacy settings.

To change the blog visibility to public see > http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

Right. Exactly. Still want to get this problem fixed before changing settings. Have put up first post, but it doesn’t appear to have replaced the error message of 404 break.

I’m having the same problem. My first post only shows up under the category link, but not on my home page!!!

My site is upgraded, but only enough to have my info private and my domain name. ($26/year) Thank you SO much for trying to help me. I’m so frustrated! Any suggestions would be wonderful.
