Why does my homepage not show up in dashboard?

  when I look at my blog I fall on the HOME page, which unfortunately I cannot edit as the page does not exist in Dashboard>pages

  The “Home” link you see is actually hard coded into your theme’s template file. It’s not a standard page. By default it will show a list of your recent blog posts but you can set it to show a static page at Settings > Reading.

  If you want to replace it you can create a custom menu at Appearance > Menus.
