Home page doesn't show in Google search

  Hello

  Our home page doesn’t show up in a Google search but other pages do. The advanced Google search…

  Exact word or phrase: [our home page name]
  Site or domain: wordpress.com

  …returns 10 of our 22 pages, not the home page at all, plus 9 other wordpress pages that mention our group in their content.

  I would really like the home page to be the top Google return. Is there any way I can achieve this?
