  Hi. My home page looks off but when I go to edit it, it looks fine. It’s showing a double menu when you go to the site, but in the editor it looks how it’s supposed to. Can you help?

  Hi there,

  I looked at your website and it loaded correctly with no double menus. Upon loading the other pages I saw that the double menu problem occurred. I see that you’re using Elementor pro as your page builder and that several of the CSS files which handle the menu styling on your pages are not loading.

  The following CSS files are the ones that have not been loaded on the page:

  ‘http://thenicholetaylor.com/wp-content/plugins/elementor-pro/assets/css/widget-nav-menu.min.css’

  ‘http://thenicholetaylor.com/wp-content/plugins/elementor/assets/css/widget-icon-box.min.css’

  ‘http://thenicholetaylor.com/wp-content/plugins/elementor-pro/assets/css/widget-theme-elements.min.css’

  The reason the menu does not work when you load the page but works and looks fine when you are editing is that your website is loaded over a secure “HTTPS” connection, but the CSS files listed above are being requested over an insecure “HTTP” connection and have been blocked. These CSS files need to be loaded over a secure “HTTPS” connection for them to work as you intend them to.

  There are several ways in which you can resolve this issue, however. The first option would be to use the menu which is on your homepage across all the pages on your website as this menu works perfectly from what I see.

  Secondly, I suggest that you reach out to the Elementor support team, and let them know that the above-listed CSS files are not loading over a secure “HTTPS” connection resulting in the duplicate menu on several pages across your website.
