Home page doubled??

  I set my homepage to “static” because I want it more as a Welcome page to my site. I then added another tab for my “posts” or blog roll. The thing I can’t figure out is how to get rid of the “Welcome” tab. Now, my homepage and Welcome tab go to the same page.

  My question is: how do I have a static homepage without it doubling up as a completely separate tab as well??
