Home page error message

  I made my site yesterday. Initially I deleted the home page and then restored it. Now I have two home pages – one is the default page and the other is a page called “Home” on my menu. The default page offers this error message to visitors.

  Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post.

  I want my “Home” page to be the default page, but don’t know how to make this change or if I even can without getting access to the source code (I am not a coder at all).

  This is because you have no posts. Once you add a post, the error will go away.

  Alternatively, you can assign another home page via the Settings -> Reading section of your blog’s Dashboard.
