Home page feature image defaults to another page

    I am a novice at this but have a basic understanding of how to create pages and set the home page but I have been struggling for days to try and figure out why the feature image for my home page becomes a link to another page – 1. Joseph Francis Stephenson Armstrong. The only way I can stop it is to unpublish Joseph’s page and set it to draft. Once I publish it again the Home page feature image disappears and the the feature image and link to 1. Joseph’s page reappears. I don’t want Joseph to feature at all. Especially on my Home page. What have I done wrong? Please help it is driving me nuts

    I solved it :)
    1. turn the feature images off on the whole site.
    2. refresh
    3. turn feature images back on

    Sorry we missed your thread initially, but thanks for posting your solution.

    It sounds like something was likely stuck in the cache for your site, and that change knocked it loose. Great sleuthing :)
