Home Page Header

Under my header there is a menu with Home About Contact. How do I activate these navigation tools to respond when I place mouse over each one?
For example: I would like my profile to appear when I click on About so how do I make that happen or my contact info when I click on Contact. Right now there are just the titles there.

    Thank you,
    Iris

Hi there, the menu you can see right now under the header is just an example of menu layout. To make it work, you will have to create a real menu linking to real pages.

First of all, start with creating a page for each of the items you want linked under the header. These don’t have to be Home / About / Contact, just think of what is suitable in your case. This tutorial will show you how to do that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/

Once done, create a new menu in the Primary Menu area and add a new menu item for each of the pages. Here you will find some more instructions on that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

If anything is still unclear, feel free to ask.

    Hi,
Ok, i have a page for each link and I created a page of content that I want to insert into the “about” link so that when you click on “about” the information will come up. I am having trouble with anything coming up when it is clicked on, it just flashes the Home page back again. How do I have this information appear under it’s link?
    Thx
    Iris
