Home page in illustratr

  Hi, On the landing page of illustratr the home page has the heading. “Hello, I’m an illustratr and this is my portfolio.” and not “Home” how is this done as I can’t seem to work it out. My home page says Home and has the edit tag still visible, which leads me to believe I’ve gone wrong somewhere. Any help much appreciated.

  The words you see there are the page title for your home page. If you want to see something different, go to Pages>All pages, edit your home page and change the title of the page to whatever you want to be printed there.

  If you don’t want your new title to also appear in your menu bar, you will need to create a custom menu.

  Menus

  Set up the menu as described on the support page above. Then just change the navigation label on your home page to whatever you want to appear in the menu.

  i want my newest blog posts on illustratr on the top of my page…how do I change this?

  Thanks lizthefair. All sorted.

  To alyssamegg, try editing the date and time on your posts before publishing, that’s how I order my portfolio homepage posts to get the images where I want them. Hope this helps.
