Home Page in Pages section in Dashboard is the "example page"

    My site works perfectly (finally), and I’m delighted. But just now I went to Pages on my Dashboard and tried to open the Home Page. What I got was the WP example page. My Home Page opens and views normally on my website but it is not saved in Pages. My other pages are–I can open them for editing in the Dashboard. This is troubling because it looks like my Home Page is not saved correctly, and also because I don’t know what I did wrong, or how to fix it.

    This support forum is for free wordpress.com blogs. http://www.ozarkcatherder.com/ is a self-hosted wordpress.ORG install. WordPress.com and wordpress.org are completely separate and different: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
