Home page in Twenty Eleven

  Hi,
  I have been having troubles both with Duster and the new Twenty Eleven.
  I would like to have a clean home page, preferably featuring an image and some text.
  I am succeeding at creating one, however as you scroll down, you can see the most recent blog post as well as the links to previous posts. Is there a way of getting rid of that?

  Hi there. The easiest way to avoid showing the full Twenty Eleven Showcase template on the home page is to not use the Showcase template there.

  Under Pages, edit Home and choose the Default template instead.

  Then add the image and text directly to the page, and save.
