Home page is blank. What do I do?

  My page doesn’t have any words on it. When I go to edit it/ I change it/ but when i look at again, the home page is blank. I have to press “about” in order to see the page and people visiting the site shouldn’t have to do that. How do I get it to display words on the home page?

  I looked through the feature and didn’t find it. When we type words on a page it normally goes to the home page. I didn’t push any buttons to make it any different. I think someone did something on your end because I have a picture of dark clouds on the home page and I can’t get rid of it. It’s not any picture that’s in the themes. Where did it come from? It’s on every theme I try to edit. I can’t get rid of it? Can someone look and see what’ going on?
