  • Hello,

    Is it a browser issue?

Here for me, it’s looking right.
I even see that you have two pages named Home.

    To delete one of them:

Hello Juline thanks for your help. I was playing around with the page and when you viewed it, I had two pages named home. The thing is, if I delete one of them it affects the other. If you take another look now you’ll see what I mean. When I click on the home tab I get the “Not Found” message. There is no way to edit the page and when I go to where all the other pages are shown, the home tab does not show there so there is no way for me to delete it.
I tried another browser as you mentioned but I got the same results

  • Hello,

Yes, now the error is showing up here in my browser.
Let’s ask someone on the WordPress team for help.
I’ve already marked this question, they’ll be in touch soon.

  • Hi there,

That home tab menu is a custom link menu item that links to your front page. You can go to Appearance > Menus to remove it:

    https://1veggiechef.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Thank you all. I was so happy to get a solution to the issue but unfortunately it did not work. I went to the page as directed and selected “home” and clicked on “remove” and it did remove it and left just “welcome” and “what’s cooking” in the line-up and then I clicked on “create menu” to save the change and I also clicked “save menu”. I was amazed when I went back to my site and the home tab was still there. It’s really putting up a fight! Do you have any more suggestions that I could try?
    Thanks!

  • Hi there,

Please return to managing your menu, and click on the locations tab to set the custom menu to appear at that spot:

This will replace the auto-generated menu (which includes the Homepage) with the custom menu you have created instead.

Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
