Home page issues

Hello
I didn’t want my home page to be a blog page and so deleted it and added a new home page. The trouble is that now if I go to the site http://friendsofgrevillesmyth.wordpress.com it goes to a blank page and if I click on the home page the url is http://friendsofgrevillesmyth.wordpress.com/home-2. Does anyone know how I can recover the original homepage and make it static – not for blog posts?

Go to your Reading Settings screen at https://friendsofgrevillesmyth.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php
In the Front Page Displays field > Front page: dropdown, select the home-2 page ( or whatever you named it).
You don’t the original home page as you already have home-2, but if you need to find it, it will be in your page trash here:
