    How do I make it so that only some of my post shows on the home page, and not the entire thing. I want only excerpts so that my reader can click on the link if they want to read more

    Hi,

    Some themes display excerpts by default on the blog page, and on some themes you have a choice: excerpt or full post, which is determined by a setting at Customize > Content Options. Twenty Sixteen doesn’t fall into either of those categories. So unless you change the theme, the only option you have is the More tag.
