Home page layout/format
-
How do I make my other menu pages have the same layout/formatting of my home page? I like how I can post and post on my home page, but I can’t do that on my other menu pages. I would really like it to be that way for morning devotion and night devotions.

I have the theme Balloons. I have the custom menus set up and each menu, except for the home page, is a page that I created, then added to the menu. I want to change the layout of morning, night, and ask grace to the layout of the home page. Is this possible? Step by step instruction would be appreciated.

So to do this, my theme needs to have a custom header and a custom menu? Under themes, you can narrow down what you want and i clicked both of those and my theme is still there but I can’t get it to work.

nevermind. I figured out why it wasn’t showing up. How do I get the posts that I want in one category to not show up in my home page?
Thank you for all your help

You’re welcome.
Your new question is also covered in my “Posts on Pages” (end of post). The main posts page displays all your latest posts: you can’t exclude by category. If you don’t want all your posts on your blog front, the only thing you can do is create a static intro page (in Pages > Add New) and set that page as your front (in Settings > Reading).
