Home page link disappeared. So has home page. And other top headings.

  Just resumed posting after long (5 year) layoff. Noticed ‘About’ and ‘Policies’ links up top still there, but ‘Home’ had disappeared. And people accessing blog from web are not seeing home page, which should show most recent post.

  Tried fixing using Help instructions, and now ALL the links up top have disappeared, and still no home page. Help!

  UPDATE: Fiddling with Settings, I seem to have gotten my ‘Home’, ‘Policies’, and ‘About’ links back on top of each page.

  BUT: Newest post (from yesterday) does not display on Home page; still showing the previous post. HOW DO I FIX THIS??

  I’ve just spent an hour trying to get the Theme default Home page (showing LATEST post) to work. No luck. Do I have to start a new post for this particular problem?

  UPDATE: Searching, I found another Help thread that revealed the Sticky command (it’s hidden behind the ‘Published’ Status in a post’s settings). Turns out several old posts had been given ‘Sticky’ status. Removing the stickies solved the problem.
