Home Page Link On Header
-
I have 3 pages linked on my header: About, Contact Me, and What I’m Watching. I’d really like to include another link entitled “Home” or “Blog” that would take the reader back to the main page/recent posts. How do I do this?

Thanks!

(1) You cannot use html in your blog title and I see that you’re trying to do that. The software will continue to strip the code. You can embed nothing in the header – no links at all.
(2) In essence your front page now is your “Blog” page. However, you can create as many static pages as you wish -> Write -> Page. However only one page in a blog (usually the front page but you can assign another one) will automatically update with each new post you make.

With your theme, you click on the title of the blog to get back to your main page. Some have clickable titles and some don’t.

I was looking at another blog, http://www.tvmakesyoustupid.com , and I noticed that they had a “Blog” link at the top, but maybe they custom designed it.

With the tv blog I think that’s just a feature of their theme. All the blogs I’ve seen using K2 have a blog link in the menu; the same for Blix, Cutline and several other themes. But unfortunately Ocean Mist (your theme) doesn’t.
You could create a static front page on your blog and assign your blog posts to a different page; that would create a link in your menu that people could always click. The downside is that the blog wouldn’t be the first page people see and it can hurt your Google ranking as well.
